Entrepreneurial Advice From Michael Dell

I found this link on BizSugar, my favorite social bookmarking hangout.  BizSugar is full of useful and interesting links for small businesses.  It was recently bought by Small Business Trends, so I am looking forward to seeing how the new team develops this important social networking tool, which is so important for the small business community online.

This short video resonated with me quite a bit.

  • Instead of perfection go for experiments.
  • Try things, don't be afraid of failures, but learn from them quickly.
  • When people are confused and stunned because business is slow, these times represent great opportunities.
  • Know what you are good at and have a clear focus and articulation of what is valuable
  • Take advantage of what is around you, such as social media
  • Find the strategy to multiple your own capacity
